Schöne Karte der nordamerikanischen Ostküste in einer frühen Ausgabe. - Gezeigt ist das Gebiet zwischen Boston und der Chesapeake Bay, dazu eine Panoramaansicht von New York "Neu Jorck sive Neu Amsterdam" (Format ca. 8,5 x 37 cm) in einer großen figürlich-heraldischen Kartusche im unteren Bildrand, erläutert durch eine lat. Legende A bis T. Zweiter Zustand der Karte mit "Sac. Caes. Maj. Geographi August. Vind.", jedoch noch ohne das Druckprivileg. - Mittelfalte leimschattig, unten bis in die kl. Ansicht eingerissen und mit Wurmspur, in den schmalen Rändern mit 4 Randeinrissen meist knapp bis in die Darstellung. - Second state of the map of the North American east coast between Boston and Chesapeake Bay. With a panoramic view of "Neu Amsterdam" resp. Manhattan in the bottom of the illustration. - Centrefold somewhat gluestained and split at the bottom, affecting the view, with small loss of matter by worming.Trimmed close, with four marginal tears, partly reaching into the illustration.
