Lipperheide Fd 12. - Seltene Serie von Händlerrufen, laut Colas zunächst ohne Titel und Text erschienen; unser Exemplar wie meist ohne das Frontispiz und ohne S. 3-8 mit dem Zwiegespräch zwischen einem Italiener und einem Buchhändler. - In unserem Exemplar sind die Tafeln 56-59 von Adrien Joly in der Platte signiert. - Titel fleckig, verso mit Siegelspuren, wasserrandig, eine Tafel mit alt hinterlegtem Einriß, Tafel 57 vor Tafel 1, Tafel 53 nach Tafel 60 eingebunden. - Gestoch. Exlibris von Lewis Montolieu. - Rare series of street vendors, after Colas initially published without title and text; our copy as most of the time without frontispiece and without pp. 3-8 with the dialogue between an Italian and a bookseller. - In our copy the plates 56-59 are signed in the plate by Adrien Joly. - Title soiled, verso with seal traces, waterstained, one plate with tear backed in former times, plate 57 before plate 1, plate 53 bound-in after plate 60. - Engraved exlibris of Lewis Montolieu. - Contemporary half calf with gilt back (joint broken, heavily scratched and scuffed, soiled).
