Erste Ausgabe. - Hübsches Beispiel für den Einfluss der neuen europäischen Kunstströmungen auf die amerikanische Buchillustration und Einbandgestaltung. - Vorsätze ein wenig stockfleckig, ansonsten von sehr guter Erhaltung. - Full-cloth art nouveau binding designed by Abbey with illustration and gilt design (sunburst and floral motif), gilt edges, as an early manifestation of Art Nouveau influence from across the Atlantic. - Some foxing to fly-leafs, otherwise a very good copy, preserved in an illustrated publisher's card box.
