Bl. aus anderem Ex. eingebunden (abweichendes Format), stellenweise Randläsuren, einige Bl. mit meist ausgebesserten Fehlstellen (Bl. 13, 68, 79, 95, 96, 186, 191, 376 u. 497; Text- u. Bildverlust), Bl. 438-454 mit gr. Braunfl., 2 Bl. lose, gebräunt u. fl. (tls. stärker). - Rare first edition of the famous costume work. With numerous woodcuts. Lacking 2 numbered sheets (a1 and c8) and 28 numbered sheets. Numerous sheets bound in from another copy (different format), partly chipping, few sheets with mostly repaired damages (text and image loss), sheets 438-454 with big brown stain, 2 sheets loose, browned and stained (partly severely).
