Tooley 41. - Der bekannte Taschenatlas von Pierre Duval, dem Neffen von Nicolas Sanson d'Abbeville, erschien erstmals 1670. - Pastoureau, Duval XI C. - Umfangreiches Teilstück das Taschenatlas. Enthält Detailkarten aus Asien (12; Pastoreau Nr. 40-51) und Europa (28; P. Nr. 52-71, 74-79 u. 82-83), darunter China, Japan, Molukken, Persien, Philippinen sowie Kreta, Sizilien, Türkei etc. Mit den entsprechenden Länderwappen. - Tls. leicht stockfl. - Extensive part of this atlas. With copper title, 40 (of 41?) copper maps and 32 engraved coat of arms plates. Contemporary leather (rubbed and bumped, partly with worming, crowns damaged). Partly with slight foxing.
