Eintragung, Besitzverm. u. Namens-St. a.V. - First edition. Hölderlin's first independent poetry volume, ed. by L.Uhland and G.Schwab, combines already published with previously unpublished poems and fragments of the "Empedocles". Original cloth (bumped and rubbed, spine somewhat sun faded, partly slightly stained). Slightly browned, slight foxing in places.
