Inkunabel-Ausgabe (alle in Italien gedruckt) der "Attischen Nächte". - Aulus Gellius wirkte als Jurist für längere Zeit in Attika, wo er wohl aus Mangel an anderen Tätigkeiten Notizen über Begegnungen, Gespräche und Bücher anfertigte. In 20 Kapiteln, wovon sich 19 erhalten haben, beschreibt er rechtliche, philosophische, grammatikalische, geometrische und andere Probleme. Gellius erwähnt dabei viele verloren gegangene Texte der Antike. - Papier vereinzelt leicht fleckig und mit schwachem Wasserrand im unteren Innensteg. Mit längerem, zeitgenössischem, hs. Kommentar a.T. verso und wenigen Randannotationen von gleicher Hand. - Sehr breitrandiges Exemplar. - Later flex. vellum (made from old material). 10th incunabula edition of the "Attic Nights". Some spotting and slight dampstains to lower inner bar. Contemp. hw. annotations verso title and in the margins. - Wide margins.
