(1607 Prag - London 1677). Totentanz. Spätere Drucke der Ausgaben, London um 1790-1816. 13 Blatt Radierungen der 30 Blatt umfassenden Folge nach Hans Holbein auf Velin mit Kopfgoldschnitt. Plattengröße ca. 7,8 x 5,5 cm, Blattgröße ca. 21 x 12,5 cm.
New Hollstein 1129 -32, 1134-35, 1137, 1139, 1140, 1142, 1151, 1153-54, jeweils IV. Zustand, wohl Ausgabe 5-9 (von 9), ohne die Bordüre. - Dabei: Der Kardinal, Der König (verso). Totentanz-Holzschnitte nach Hans Holbein. Blattgröße 7 x 5,5 cm. Aus Buchausgabe herausgetrennt, daher einige Läsuren und kleinere Defekte. Vor allem in den Außenrändern teils stärker gebräunt und altersfleckig. - Later prints of the edition London, ca. 1790-1816. 13 pgs. engr. of the 30 pgs. series after Hans Holbein on vellum with gilt tip. Plate size 7,8x5,5 cm. Sheet 21x12,5 cm. Each 4th state, prob. ed. 5-9 (of 9) without border. With: Der Kardinal, Der König (verso). Dance of death woodcuts after Hans Holbein. From book edition, therefore some small defects. Esp. in the margins browning and spotting.
