Wellcome 6610 (1516 ed.). - The first Venice edition of a work, first published in Rome in 1514 and expanded with a second part in 1517. - Vigo, surgeon to Pope Julius II, was one of the main figures of early Renaissance surgery. His book is a valuable distillation of surgical practice to date, and Vigo was one of the first to write on gunshot wounds and their treatment. Reprinted and translated throughout the 16th century, all early editions are rare: this 1520 edition is the earliest recorded by ABPC. - Es fehlen die num. Bl. 89 u. 112-113 u. 1 w. (M1 u. O8-10).
