Le imagini delle donne Auguste intagliate in istampa dirame; con le vite. Venedig, Giacomo France (um 1600). Mit Kupfertitel u. 55 (statt 63) Kupfertaf. Wildldr. um 1800 (Berieb. u. etw. fl.).
Vgl. Mortimer 532. Ornamentstichsammlung 4243. Thieme-Becker XXXIV, 328. - Spätere Ausg., die ohne den Textteil veröffentlicht wurde. Die Erstausgabe war 1557 ebenfalls in Venedig erschienen. Die Kupfer zeigen Portraitmedaillons der römischen Kaiserinnen in prachtvoller Umrahmung. - Es fehlen die Kupfertaf.: 21, 25, 27, 29, 42, 45, 61 u. 63. Kupfertit. u. Taf. sehr knapp am Plattenrand beschn. u. auf festes Papier mont. Schluss mit hs. Eintragung. - With copper title and 55 (of 63) copper plates. Suede around 1800 (rubbed and somewhat stained). Title and plates narrowly trimmed and mounted.
