Unterl. u. Darst. etw. stockfl., unt. Ecken tls. wasserrandig, tls. randrissig. Besitzverm. a.V. - Selten. With illustr. lith. title and 17 lith. plates all on india paper and mounted. Chipped contemporary cloth with gilt shaped title on front (lacking spine, boards loose, partly soiled and scuffed). - Throughout some foxing, corners partly waterstained, partly marginal tears. Name and date on loose fly leaf. - Rare set of illustrations including juvenile/sentimental subjects: "The Young Anglers", "The Bird Catcher", "Rigging the Boat" etc. The artist published in 1843 his Scenery in the Vicinity of Wakefield.
