Voltaire geschätzt wurde. - Das Portrait zeigt den König von Portugal. Die dekorat. Taf. u.a. St. Peters Basilica (Innen- u. Außenansichten, Plan) u. Feierlichkeiten. - Port. by Giovanni Battista Sintes of John V, King of Portugal, to whom work is dedicated. Plates at end depicting St. Peter's Basilica with decorations are numbered I-XXXII at upper right, partly in the plate and partly by hand stamping. They are also stamped 11-42 at lower right to reflect the 9 leaves of ill. that precede (one bearing 2 plates). Many plates are signed by Sintes as etcher (2 by Antonio Gramignani), some after drawings by Antonio Rinaldi, some with Luigi Vanvitelli credited as architect.
