(Meer mit Flächenkolorit) von J.Senex ("Revis'd"), um 1720. 41,5 x 52 cm. Mit ausgem. fig. Titelkart. u. Widm. an "his Royal Highness George Prince of Wales".
Wagner Nr. 521: "in 'A New general atlas'. A Sanson map, but without names". Mit Kalifornien als Insel, Australien u. Neu-Guinea verbunden u. ohne weitere Bezeichnungen. - W. Ränder etw. gebr., vereinz. stockfl., re. vom Falz quetschf. - Copper-engraved double hemispheric world map. California as an island and much of the northwest coast of America and the eastern coast of Australia are unmapped. There is no sign of Antarctica, New Guinea is still shown as connected to Australia. - White margins with browning, sporadically foxing, box pleat on the right side of the fold.
