Zuerst erschienen unter dem Titel "Laboratorium Ceylonicum, ex inquilinis Ceyloniae insulae simplicibus concinnatum" 1677. - Der schwedische Mediziner und Naturforscher Herman Niklas Grim (1641-1711) unternahm viele Ostindien-Reisen und war mind. in den Jahren 1674/75 im Krankenhaus von Colombo auf Ceylon stationiert. - Leicht gebräunt, einige Bl. mit kl. Wasserrand.
