Arabische Handschrift auf mattem Papier. 1131 A. H. (= 1718-1719 A. D.). 183 Bll. Schwarze Tinte, 8 Zeilen. - Schlichter Leder-Einband. 2,1 : 2,6 cm.
Miniaturkoran in normalem Kodexformat, selten, da solche kleinformatigen Handschriften häufig in achteckigem Format angefertigt wurden. - Sorgfältige, eckige arabische "Staubschrift", signiert am Ende von Hadhi Fajari und datiert A. H. 1131. Am Anfang Medaillons auf Goldgrund mit den Namen der ersten vier Kalifen (Râschidûn). Die erste Sure und der Anfang der zweiten in Rundmedaillons, die folgenden Surenüberschriftein in Rot. Text eingefaßt mit schmalem Goldrahmen. - Gut erhaltene, kaum fleckige Handschrift. - Midget Koran. Arabic manuscript on mat paper. 1131 A. H. (= 1718-1719 A. D.). 183 leaves. Size 2,1 : 2,6 cm. Black ink, 8 lines. Leather binding. Miniature Koran in normal codex format, rare, since such small-format manuscripts often in octagonal format were made. - Accurate, angular Arabic "Staubschrift", signed at the end of Hadhi Fajari and dated A.H. 1131. At the beginning medallions on gold background with the names of the first four caliphs (Rashidun). The first surah and the beginning of the second in round medallions, the following surah headings in red. Text bordered with small gold frames. - Well maintained, hardly spotted.
