(2. Hälfte 19. Jh. Japan). Blühende Rosenzweige in einer Vase. Daneben das Gedicht: "Die langen Äste zeigen im Wechsel der vier Jahreszeiten mal eine tiefe und mal eine sanfte Röte". Aquarell u. Tusche auf Seide. Sign.: Gyokko tsuri-bito (Angler) u. Kansai(?)-Siegel sowie ein weiteres (nicht identifiziertes) Siegel. Format: 23,5 x 16,8 cm. Japanische Montierung auf Papier mit schmalem Schmuckrand. Unter Passep. mont.
Kotoku Gyokko war Schüler des Nanga-Malers Kanae Gen Kinjo (1811-1863).
