Kupferstichkte. von 4 Platten gedruckt von T.C.Lotter, Augsburg 1776. 96 x 98 cm.Mit gr. ausgem. fig. Kart. (Landung der Pilgerväter, ca. 14 x 27 cm) u. 2 ausgem. eingesetzten Plänen: Stadt u. Hafen von Boston.
Tooley, Mapmakers S. 401 (nennt eine Neuengland-Karte in 4 Bl. mit Dat. 1779). Vgl. Goss, Map 66 (die Vorlage von T.Jefferys, 1774, nach der die Lotter-Kte. exakt kopiert worden ist, daher auch der unübl. engl. Titel). - Seltene, großformatige Karte. - Stärker randrissig, tls. angestaubt, tls. in den Falzen kl. Fehlstellen u. Einrisse, Mittelfalz unterl., li. Rand stellenw. angerändert. - This large map (printed of 4 plates) by Lotter is a close copy of the famous map by Jefferys, first published in 1774 (see Goss, Map 66). - Marginal tears, partly dusty, folds with small holes and tears, middle fold with laid down holes. Left margin partly repaired.
