Entgegen Vermerk auf dem Titel ist jedoch bereits kein separater Atlas mehr erschienen, vier der fünf urprünglichen Atlaskarten (Liste bei Phillips a.a.O.) sind in die Textbände, jedoch noch nicht in deren Tafelverzeichnisse inkorporiert. Im Anschluß an die vorliegende "Narrative" erschien bis 1858 eine nicht vollendete Serie von 14 Bänden wissenschaftl. Berichte. - Durchgeh. stockfl. - Unabridged ed., all maps bound into text vols. 3 vols. with 7 (6 folded) lithogr. maps, 42 steel-engr. plates, 18 steel- engr. vign. and numerous text-woodcuts. - Foxing allthrough.
