Alles auf Deutsch geschrieben mit umfangreichen Kommentaren des landgräfl.-hessischen Leibarztes Kornthauer. - First edition, posthumous, of this treaty on the plague written in German and dedicated to the city of Stortzingen. It is a long list of recepies against the plague and the related diseases, some of them containing opium. Edited by Kornthauer, with the dedication of the printer Theodor de Bry to the Burgmaister of Frankfurt. Not common. Krivatsy,8567. Not in Rosenthal or Wellcome. - Vorbindung: Ferguson I, 164. Erste Ausgabe. - Rezeptsammlung nicht nur aus der Pharmazie, sondern auch aus dem Bereich der Kosmetik, Gastronomie u. Destillierkunst. - Titelblatt mit größ. Ausschnitt (wohl ohne Textverlust?) und Papier mit Stempel einmontiert. - Beide Werke gebräunt. - Zwei sehr seltene Oppenheimer Drucke.
