Dekorativer Erdglobus als Reisetintenfass. Deutschland, um 1875, nicht bezeichnet, der Globus aus Metall mit 12 lithographierten Papiersegmenten bezogen, am Äquator mittels Scharnier zu öffnen, das vergoldete Interieur mit Tintenfass aus Glas und Sprungdeckel, der Südpol als Standfläche abgeflacht. Altersspuren, Tintenflecken auf Südhalbkugel. Durchmesser: ca. 7 cm.
Nach der Art des Kartenbildes handelt es sich bei dem Globus wahrscheinlich um ein Produkt aus der Fabrikation von Carl Abel-Klinger in Nürnberg. A novelty inkwell globe. Germany c. 1875, unsigned, 12 lithographed globe gores mounted on a metal sphere, split and hinged at the equator, the gilded interior with glass inkwell and moving cap, the base flattened. Signs of age. Diameter c. 7 cm.
