Sammlung von 50 Photographien. Dabei u.a. der Abbau von Zinnerz durch die Billiton mining company, Landschaften, Anwohner, chinesische Kulis, und weitere. Ca. 1930. Jedes Foto (17,4 x 23,8 cm) auf Karton montiert und beschriftet. In zwei Alben mit Reptilienoptik über Pappdeckeln eingebunden.
Die Billiton Company wurde 1852 von Vincent Gildemeester van Tuyll van Serooskerken und John Francis Louden gegründet. - Collection of 50 fine photographs showing i.a. the mining of tin ore at the Billiton mining company, landscapes, residents, fishing villages, chinese coolies, etc. N.d., (1930's). Each photo (174 x 238 mm each) laid down on cardboard mount and captioned in white ink. In 2 similar threaded cord albums w. stamped simili reptile cardboard covers.
