Felice, der Professor der Mathematik und Physik in Neapel war. - "This work is much more an independent creation than the various reprints listed above. - It is, however, abundantly clear that the Swiss Protestant editor and contributors gave the 'Encyclopédie d'Yverdon' a very different tone from that of the 'Encyclopédie' of Diderot and d'Alembert, and that, in a chapter on the different editions of the latter work De Félice's encyclopedia can appear only in an appendix" (Lough). - Die Tafeln zeigen u. a. Darstellungen und Abläufe aus vielen Handwerksberufen, darunter Brauer, Drucker, Gitarrenbauer, Kartenmacher, Knopfmacher, Sattler, Ziegelei, ferner zu Anatomie, Architektur, Astronomie, Kriegskunst (Militär und Marine), Landwirtschaft und Reitkunst.- Block tls. gebrochen, wenige Tafeln mit kleinem Einriß, leicht fleckig. - Unterschiedlich gebunden.
