in Photoalbum. Mit farb. lith. Titel, 28 Porträtfotografien u. mit eingebauter Spieluhr im hinteren Teil des Buches. Um 1900. 4°. Bildgr. ca. 13:10, bzw. 9:6 cm. Blau-grüner Or.-Ldr., vorn mit goldgepr. Eckfleurons u. Mittelstück, hinten mit Stand-Nägeln, ringförmige Schließe, minimal berieben.
Seltene Buch-Kuriosität mit voll funktionsfähiger, mechanischer Spieluhr. Die Walze der Spieluhr ist durch ein Bogenfenster sichtbar, ein zweites Fenster mit (erneuertem) Deckel eröffnet ein Kästchen zur Aufbewahrung des Schlüssels zum Aufziehen. Die Fotos meist aus italienischen Fotostudios. - Rare book curiosity with fully functional mechanical music box. The cylinder of the music box is visible through an arched window, a second window with (renewed) lid opens a box for storing the key to wind it up. Album with 28 portrait photographs of various sizes, probably of Italian origin. Original leather, front cover richly gilt, rear cover with Nails to put on, ring-shaped clasp.
