Nicht in Neu und bei Honeyman. - Hauptwerk des italienischen Chemikers Marsilio Landriani (1751-1815), in dem er die Erfindung und Anwendung des Eudiometers vorstellt, eines Instruments zur Gasanalyse. - "We have no information about Landriani until 1775, when the 'Ricerche fisiche' appeared. Landriani's name is repeatedly linked to Volta's inventions and especially to the eudiometer. The term was first used by Landriani in the 'Ricerche' to indicate the instrument he had devised to measure the purity of the air. Volta very accurately defined the hygienic value of the method and radically transformed the instrument, assigning it new tasks.
