Both volumes of a five-language (Latin, Italian, English, French, German) compendium of maps and paintings of photographs of Franciscan activity in the Holy Land around the end of the nineteenth century including churches (interior and exterior), schools, cityscapes, and many people from Judea, Galilee, Syria, Cyprus, and Egypt. This is the second, significantly expanded edition. The books are not printed on normal paper, but rather cardboard, the heft of which has weakened if not torn the binding in some places. - Mit Stempel und Rückensignatur einer aufgelösten Klosterbibliothek.
