Nissen, BBI 1011. BM, Natural History 948. - Das Werk war 1817-1819 in 12 Lieferungen erschienen, hier erstmals mit dem Vorwort. Vier der Tafeln mit Pilzdarstellungen, des weiteren mit prachtvollen Abbildungen von Eisenhut, Fingerhut, Herbstzeitlose, Küchenschelle, Pfaffenkäppchen, Schöllkraut, Tollkirsche u.a. Die Tafeln 1-12 sind lithographiert, die übrigen Tafeln in Kupferstich. - Buchblock angebrochen, tls. leicht fleckig. - With 48 old coloured copper engraving and lithographed plates. The work was published in 1817-1819 in 12 editions, here for the first time with the preface. Four of the plates with depictions of mushrooms, furthermore with splendid illustrations of aconite, foxglove, meadow saffron, pasque flower, celandine, belladonna a.o. Plates 1-12 are lithographed, the remaining plates in copper engraving.
