Erschien erstmals 1656/57 unter dem Titel Figurine und enthielt 62 Tafeln mit Soldaten, Kriegern, Frauen und Figurengruppen.Die zusätzlichen 6 Kupfer mit Meeresgöttern. - Leicht gebräunt und teils schwach fleckig. - Nice wide-margined copy with the rare, famous set of study sheets showing soldiers and folk types. First published in 1656/57 under the title "Figurine" and contained 62 plates. Etched title and 67 etched plates. Contemp. calf with some gilt spine and label. - Slightly browned and faintly stained in places. Bindings somewhat scraped and bumped. (R)
