Sie gilt mit ihren prächtig ausgearbeiteten kolor., farbig lithographierten Tafeln als eine der schönsten Gartenbauzeitschriften ihrer Zeit und zeigt einerseits neu entdeckte exotische Pflanzen aus aller Welt und andererseits ebenso populäre europäische Kulturpflanzen. - Insgesamt sauberes Ex. - Exlibris. - The first volume of this well-known, richly illustrated botanical magazine. With 55 mostly coloured lithographed plates as well as a few wood engravings in the text. Contemporary half leather, joints damaged, rubbed and bumped. Overall clean copy.
