Graesse V, 62. - Erste Ausgabe. - Stellenweise etwas gebräunt, vereinzelt stockfleckig, vereinzelt wasserrandig. Zwischen S. 46 und 48 eine zusätzlich eingebundene Tafel mit einer montierten Radierung mit Bleistiftanmerkung im unteren Rand ("This is the only impression of the state of the plate. G.R. 1882"). - Vorsatz mit montiertem Papierausschnitt mit eigenhändiger Widmung des Autors Ottley an William Mac Intyre, datiert März 1835. Weitere Widmung Mac Intyres an George Richmond, August 1855. Weiterer Geschenkvermerk von Richmond an William Blake Richmond, 1890. - First edition. Parts 1 and 2 (of 3). With 71 engraved plates and 13 engraved illustrations in the text. Later half leather, partly rubbed, bumped. Partly somewhat browned, occasionally foxing and waterstained. With handwritten dedication of the author and 2 more dedications.
