Nicolay begleitete den französischen Diplomaten u. Botschafter Gabriel d'Aramont 1551 auf einer Mission nach Konstantinopel. Dort schrieb er diesen Bericht und skizzierte seine bemerkenswerten Figuren von Osmanen, Arabern, Armeniern und Inselbewohnern in Kostümen. - Ohne S. 143-144. - Zustandsbeschreibung bitte anfordern. - Nicolay accompanied the French diplomat and ambassador Gabriel d'Aramont on a mission to Constantinople in 1551. There he wrote this report and sketched his remarkable figures of Ottomans, Arabs, Armenians and islanders in costumes. With 65 (instead of 67) engraved plates. Leather of the 18th century.
