Darlow/Moule 5598. - Die erste protestantische Bibel in italienischer Sprache: "The 'editio princeps' of the version of Giovanni Diodati, which in its modern form remains the official Bible of the Italian Protestants ... G. Diodati (1576-1649) ... translated direct from the Hebrew and Greek originals, but on the whole his version does not depart seriously from the Vulgate, exept in the Psalter.
