Ferrerio, P., Palazzi di Roma de piv. celebri architetti . Disegnati... (Rome, G. G. de Rossi ) n.d. (about 1660-70). Only part I. Oblong folio. Engraved portrait (pope Alexander VII, dampstains in margin, creased margins), engraved title with dedication (dampstains upper part), 49 engraved plates, of which 2 folding (all?, mostly dampstained in upper and sometimes lower part, some minor spots in plates, the 2 larger folding engr. plates with titles: "Capitolii romani vera..." and "Vero e novo disegno di Frascati..." with repairs and minor tears, creases, some spots in margin). Berlin Kat. 2665. According to this, there should be 44 plates in part one, here are probably also plates from another work. These plates are larger and folding, Capitoli Romani and Frascati among others. Pietro Ferrerio (about 1600-1654). - (Maggi, G.), Nuova racolta di Fontane che si vedano nel alma citta di Roma, Tivoli, e Frascati. Rome (G. G. de Rossi ) n.d. (about 1660-70). Engraved title with dedication, 40 engravings I. Maggius, F. Corduba, D. Barrière (not complete, dampstains) and 2 large folding engr. plates L. Rouhier of obelisques (repaired tears and in foldings). Berlin Kat. 3599. According to this, there should be 42 leaves of plates, and sometimes two on one leaf. - Nova Racolta degl Obelischi et colonne antiche, dell alma citta di Roma... Rome (G. G. de Rossi) n.d. (1670?). Engr. title with dedication, 17 engravings, incl. title on 10 leaves (dampstains in upper margin, 1 large spot, some spots). + Vestigi delle antichita de Roma Tivoli pozzuolo et altri luochi. Stampata in Praga di Aegidio Sadeler 1660 (G. G. de Rossi). Engr. title, 50 engraved plates M. Sadeler (all, dampstain in upper margin). - Thomassin, P., Antiq.(uarum) statuar.(um) urbis Romae. Liber Primus. Rome (G. G. de Rossi ) n.d. (about 1600?). 46 engravings, incl. title on 16 leaves (5 leaves stained affecting 1 engraving on each leaf). - Piccioni, M., (Scenes of the triumphal arch of Constantin). Rome (G. J. Possi (sic! = Rossi) n.d (about 1650). 21 engraved plates M. Piccioni (all, dampstains in upper margin). - 8 larger partly folding engraved plates, also printed in Rome by G. G. de Rossi with titles like "Le sette Chiese di Roma...", "La cavalcata con le sve cermonie del pontefice..", "Urbis Romae novissima delineatio"(repairs in folding, slight dampstains in upper part and folding, 2 stained, partly with some spots, creases).
All plates with number in pencil number 1-181. Worn and partly stained contemporary calf, spine richly gilt, damage in upper edge, with title "Pittore palazzi de Roma", cracks in inner joints, loose in hinges, speckled edges. In worn contemporary speckled paper case with title label in faded red calf "Roma antiqua et noua". Engr. book plate, signature on inside of upper cover.
