"Contains (twice) a woodcut globe on which America appears" (A.-L.). - First Edition of Marco Mauro's Italian translation of Holywood's 'Sphera', which is dedicated to the Spanish mathematicians Juan Orthega de Carion and Dino Compagni of Florence. The numerous woodcut illustrations include an early map of the Americas. The allegorical portrait of Mauro at verso of title-page (Photo ?) shows him standing by a globe that depicts South America, wrongly labelled 'Ametrica'. - Es fehlen A2-3, D1-4, H2-3, und alles nach L4.
