Mit Eulenaugen und Ibisschnabel sowie am oberen Ende mit Mondsichel (leicht beschädigt). Verwendet beim Initiationsritus für junge Männer. Ca. 202 x 40 x 30 cm. Sehr kunstvoll, mit Gebrauchssp.
Prov: Sammlung Dr. Nerlich in München. Lit. Katalog "Das zweite Gesicht" 1997 Abb.85. - Monumental board mask Nwantantay of the Bwaba (BWA). Artfully whitewashed with geometric and zoomorphic forms and symbols, as well as remains of polychrome paint.
