"Ausländ.-Arzney-Pflanzen" ohne Tit., vollständiges Ex. der großen Pflanzenwerke von Mann. - Von II erschienen 22 Lieferungen mit 132 Tafeln, nicht 16 mit 96 Tafeln, wie alle Bibliogr. angeben. - Die Tafeln in schönem zeitgenöss. Kolorit. - The plants are all drawn by Johann Gottlieb Mann (signed J.G.M. fecit) and mostly lithographed by F.Schmidt. - Wie gewöhnlich stockfl., tls. nur in den Blattränd. Ca. 100 Taf. stärker stockfl. "Ausländische Arzney-Pflanzen" papierbedingt gebräunt. - Foxed as usual for this work, many of the plates are only touched in the margins but others (about 100) are affected in larger areas of the plate. Some of the paper of "Ausländische..." are browned due to the quality of the paper. Portrait of Linnaeus lacking. The title of the second volume added in a reproduction. At the end there are 5 leaves of handwritten indexes. - The provenance is inscribed on the first blanc leaf of each volume by "Roesler Apothekar", perhaps a pharmacy at Roeselare, Belgium?
