Ausg. - First edition of the second-third volume of the original set of the Italian Amadis de Gaula, directly translated after the Spanish, and more closely than the French translation following the Spanish original. Published in 23 volumes between 1546 and 1569, they were all translated by Mambrino Roseo, and comprise the first 13 Books. It is said that Book 13, divided over 6 volumes and containing the history of Spheramund, was composed directly in Italian, by the translator, Mambriono Roseo. - Insges. fehlen 4 Bl.
