Das Photomaterial spielte bei den Nürnberger Prozessen eine wichtige Rolle als Beweismittel. - On May 21, 1945 the American Office of War Information (OWI) began publishing a photo brochure for its Psychological Warfare Division (PWD) concerning the German concentration camps. A large number of brochures were to be published to sell in Germany, however, the poor organization of the German officials shortly after the War prevented an efficient distribution of the brochure and a large number were then distributed in the prisoner of war camps. It is not known how many copies were made in total and ╔only a few of these rare documents exist today╗.
