Methnewi - Ma'nawi (Geistiges Methnewi). Persische Handschrift, geschrieben von 1152-1206 a.h. (1739-1792). Fol. 694 S. Ldr. d. Zt. mit Blindpräg. über aufkasch. blauem Papier (dieses tls. abgelöst, St. Gebrauchs- u. Altersspuren).
Das Methnewi ist das Lehrgedicht der islamischen Mystik. Es wird von Einheimischen als "Qor'an in Pehlewi" bezeichnet und besteht aus 6 Büchern, die alle Doktrinen, Traditionen und Legenden des Tasawwuf enthalten. Vorliegendes Manuskript enthält alle 6 Bücher vollständig. Die ältesten Teile sind die Bücher 2-5. Geschrieben auf kräftiges, verschiedenfarb. Papier, die ältesten Teile sind stärker braun. Schrift des Gedichts in Schwarz in 2 Doppelspalten, sonst durchlaufend, rote Überschriften, Unterstreichungen u. Erläuterungen erst nachträglich eingefügt (z.B. 1207). - Einige Bl. mit Ausbesserungen u. tls. Rd. unterlegt, tls. Rd. wasserrandig u. tls. fleckig, wenige Löcher. It is referred to as "Qor'an in Pahlavi" by locals and consists of 6 books, including all doctrines, traditions and legends of Tasawwuf. All 6 books are complete. The oldest parts are the books 2-5. Written on strong, differently coloured paper, the oldest parts are more browned. Lettering of the poem in black and in 2 double columns, otherwise continuously; red headings, underlinings and explanations inserted (e.g. 1207). - Some leaves with repairs and partly margins backed, partly margins with waterstains, partly spotted, only few holes.
