Extensive collection of the famous, by Amand-Durand on behalf of George Duplessis and the French. National Library created reproductions of Rembrandt etchings. Appeared without text. A total of 350 panels appeared. As visual material for his helio engravings, Amand-Durand did not use the heavily used original copper plates but rather prints of the etchings in first and second pressure states. His leaves reproduced the originals in such a complete way that they became coveted collectibles. - Backside titled with pencil.

Umfangreiche Sammlung der berühmten, von Amand-Durand im Auftrag von George Duplessis u. der franz. Nationalbibliothek geschaffenen Reproduktionen von Rembrandt-Radierungen. Ohne Text erschienen. Insgesamt erschienen 350 Tafeln. Als Anschauungsmaterial fur seine Heliogravüren benutzte Amand-Durand nicht die stark gebrauchten Original-Kupferplatten sondern Abzüge der Radierungen in ersten u. zweiten Druckzuständen. Seine Blätter bildeten die Originale so vollendet nach, dass sie zu begehrten Sammlerstücken wurden. - Rückseite mit Bleistift betitelt.
