Ferguson 7376. - This voyage was especially significant for the natural history data collected. The ship sailed from Sydney under the command of Sir William Wiseman to display the British flag in the different archipelagoes of the Western Pacific. He sailed from Sydney on 4th June 1865, visits to: Lord Howe Island, Norfolk Island, Niue Island, Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, New Hebrides, the Solomon Islands, Loyalty Islands and New Caledonia.
