Technique Woodcut (professionally conservated, rebacked with japanese paper, repaired tiny tears and thin spots, brown staining in the image) 40 x 28 cm (15.7 x 11 inches). - A very rare Catalan broadside with the Game of the Goose. - This is a very early example of a Catalan Game of the Goose, made by a Barcelona based publisher and printer Ignacio Estivill. Estivill was specialised in popular wood-cuts and books with illustrations, published mostly in the second quarter of the 19th century. - We could not trace any other examples of this broadside on the market or in the institutions.
