Lonchamp 2857. Junker I, S. 69 f. - Insgesamt ersch. 4 Bde. (bis 1799), zum Schluß unter dem Titel "Walthards Zeitung". Vorhanden die Nummern vom 18. März bis 18. Juni 1798. - Der Berner Verleger Walthard (1743-1802) stellte sich mit dieser Zeitschrift gegen die franz. Besatzungsmacht. Sie gilt heute "als geistreichstes Oppositionsorgan der Altgesinnten" und ist mit ihren guten Registern eine "vortreffliche Quelle" (HLS) für die frühe Zeit der Helvetik. - S. 457/458 in der Pag. übersprungen.
