As a physiologist he was the greatest of his time. The German translation was published in 1779-80, 3 volumes in-8°, with the following title "Sammlung academischer Streitschriften die Geschichte und Heilung der Krankheiten betreffend. In einem vollständigen Auszug gebracht und mit Anmerkungen versehen von Lorenz Crell" (Garrison-M.). - Tls. stockfl., vereinzelt leicht wasserrandig.
